Truly enjoyed absolutely fantastic breakfasts, and clean hotel.

The a double room we stayed in were absolutely perfect with its own private veranda.

The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. 🛏️ Breakfasts were amazing, with a variety of options like eggs, sausages, and crispy bacon.

Terrific experience there. Luxurious hotel, clean, tasty breakfast, incredible location to Ithaca airport. Extra care from the excellent staff. Uniquely decorated and cozy room, with central heating, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator. An exceptionally comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Location just off the lake, wineries and Watkins Glen Park, and many wineries...

The hotel's location is ideal, nestled in the charming Village of Burdett, it offers easy access to explore the picturesque Finger Lakes region. The nearby Watkins Glen is a short distance away, allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of nature without being in the hustle and bustle of a big town.

It is situated away from the higher traffic areas in a big town, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The proximity to Ithaca and Geneva makes it a great base for exploring the Finger Lakes region. Guests have praised the beautifully decorated rooms, with cozy beds and recently renovated bathrooms. The hosts, Ashley and Dave, provide excellent service and create a welcoming atmosphere. The delicious breakfasts, made with love, are a highlight of the stay.

The price for the stay may be a bit steep.

We had a wonderful stay at Burkett House for our trip to the lake and wineries. The Knickerbocker room was lovely with a cute veranda. Ashley and Dave were friendly hosts and gave great recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious and Ashley's creativity in the decor was impressive. The location was ideal, just minutes from Watkins Glen. The mattress in our room was better than any luxury hotel bed. Definitely returning!

Guests can enjoy the beautifully decorated Knickerbocker room with its private bathroom and balcony facing the street. The hosts, Dave and Ashley, provide excellent recommendations for local attractions, wineries, and breweries. Guests rave about the delicious breakfasts, which incorporate local foods. Additionally, the friendly canine host, Hudson, adds a warm and welcoming touch to the stay.

The breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed a delicious two-course breakfast that was both filling and tasty. The hosts were also very accommodating to our dietary restrictions, which was greatly appreciated. Additionally, the location of the inn was perfect. We were able to easily access both sides of the nearby lake, as well as neighboring towns. Another advantage was the decor of the inn. Traditional and tasteful, it was nicely appointed without being overdone.

While some may appreciate the charming ambiance of an older home, certain elements of our room were a bit dated and could use some updating. Additionally, while the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the location of our room could be a bit noisy at times due to its proximity to the dining area.
